Job Description:
Invent Alliance Limited is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Experience & Account Specialist. In the fast-moving world of bakery and FMCG, the bridge between a sale and a long-term partnership is the quality of service and the reliability of account management.
In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our brand’s reputation. You will manage the entire customer lifecycle—from handling inquiries for distributors and corporate buyers to ensuring financial health through rigorous receivables tracking and account reconciliation. Requirements:
1. Relationship Architecture & Service Excellence
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the central point of contact for retail customers, wholesalers, and corporate buyers, ensuring every interaction reinforces brand loyalty.
Resolution Management: Handle inquiries and complaints with professional poise, turning potential frustrations into opportunities for improved service.
Feedback Loop: Provide management with actionable insights from customer interactions to suggest product or process improvements.
2. Financial Stewardship & Account Governance
Receivables Tracking: Own the follow-up on account receivables, ensuring that all payments are tracked and collected in a timely manner.
Account Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy between orders placed and payments received.
Data Integrity: Use Microsoft Excel to maintain rigorous records of account statuses, customer interactions, and payment histories.
3. Growth Support & Market Intelligence
Field Promotion: Support marketing activities and field promotions to enhance brand visibility and convert new prospects into active accounts.
Competitor Radar: Monitor competitor activities and shifting customer preferences within the Ajah/Sangotedo market to help us stay ahead.
Operational Reporting: Prepare documentation and weekly reports using Microsoft Word and Excel to keep leadership informed of regional performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or OND/HND with significant relevant experience).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales, marketing, or customer service. Experience in the food or FMCG industry is a major advantage.
Location: Mandatory residency in Ajah, Sangotedo, or immediately surrounding areas.
Technical & Behavioral Skills
Financial Literacy: Basic knowledge of receivables tracking, reconciliation, and accurate record-keeping.
Software Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (for tracking) and Word (for reporting).
Interpersonal Power: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the confidence to handle high-pressure customer concerns.
Agility: A self-motivated, target-driven mindset capable of multitasking in a fast-paced field environment.
