We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Engineer, located in Ife.
• The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, managing and overseeing several Agricultural construction projects.
• Day-to-day tasks include preparing engineering designs, analyzing structural drawings, developing structural plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, resolving design issues, conducting site evaluations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• The Civil Engineer will also collaborate with other engineering professionals and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and oversight of construction and infrastructure projects relevant to agriculture.
• Review and validate technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and feasibility assessments.
• Perform site inspections, structural assessments, and risk analyses.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian civil engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Monitor project milestones, timelines, and budgets.
• Utilize engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or relevant tools.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and propose effective engineering solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies
• Effective project management, documentation, and reporting skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional Engineering (COREN, NSE) certification is a plus
• Strong experience in Agricultural construction, including farmhouses, poultry houses, warehouses, and processing plants.
