Job Description:
- Execute loading, unloading, securing, and storage of cargo on vessels or offshore platforms in line with approved plans, marine regulations, and company safety standards.
- Operate cargo handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, winches, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Handle and store hazardous materials in compliance with the IMDG Code, maritime legislation, and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of cargo handling tools, lifting gear, and storage facilities to ensure readiness and safety.
- Adhere to safety protocols, actively participate in toolbox talks, emergency drills, and hazard identification/reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo manifests, movement logs, equipment status, and operational incidents.
Requirements:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in marine cargo handling or a related field.
- Minimum Class 3 Certificate of Competency (COC) / Officer of the Watch (OOW) Navigation certification.
- Proven experience working on FSO/FPSO vessels.
