Job Description:

The Rig Medic (RM/BESL certified) is responsible for providing medical care, emergency response, and health management for all personnel onboard offshore or onshore oil and gas facilities. The role also includes supporting occupational health, hygiene, and safety initiatives in compliance with company policies, BESL certification requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary healthcare, first aid, and emergency medical treatment to all rig personnel.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure confidentiality.

• Conduct daily medical checks and monitor the health status of crew members.

• Ensure readiness of medical facilities, first aid equipment, drugs, and emergency response kits.

• Develop and implement medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) procedures in collaboration with supervisors.

• Support HSE activities including health education, hygiene inspections, and wellness programs.

• Monitor potable water, food hygiene, and general sanitation conditions onboard.

• Participate in drills and emergency response exercises (fire, evacuation, rescue, etc.).

• Provide health and safety awareness training to rig personnel.

• Submit timely medical and incident reports to management.

Requirements:

• Clinical expertise and emergency response capability.

• Strong observation and decision-making skills.

• High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy.

• Ability to work independently in isolated conditions.

• Team collaboration with HSE and operations crew.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications
• 6 years of experience.
