Job Description:
We are seeking a high-integrity, results-driven Education Consultant & Admissions Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary bridge between aspiring students and our prestigious UK university partners. You won’t just manage paperwork; you will act as a strategic advisor, conducting rigorous due diligence to ensure every application is genuine and qualified. Your mission is to convert inquiries into enrollments by providing expert guidance, managing our digital brand presence, and representing the organization within the local educational ecosystem. Requirements:
1. Student Counseling & Admissions Pipeline
Inquiry Conversion: Follow up on all marketing leads and director-assigned inquiries with a high-conversion mindset—moving students from initial interest to successful enrollment.
Academic Due Diligence: Rigorously assess student applications and documentation to ensure they meet entry requirements and are free from fraudulent information.
Institutional Mastery: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of partner institution courses and entry criteria to provide accurate, high-value counseling.
2. Office Operations & Stakeholder Management
24-Hour Service Standard: Ensure all emails and telephone calls from students, parents, and university partners are addressed professionally within a strict 24-hour window.
Administrative Stewardship: Manage the daily flow of office operations, including report generation, spreadsheet maintenance, and general executive support.
External Representation: Build and maintain strategic relationships with the British Council in Nigeria and other local educational stakeholders to enhance the organization’s network.
3. Marketing & Community Engagement
Social Media Management: Act as the lead for all social media platforms, utilizing Canva to create engaging content that drives brand visibility and student interest.
Events & Exhibitions: Play a key role in the planning and execution of BFIC UK Fairs, open days, and educational exhibitions to generate new leads.
Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge & Technical Skills
Software Proficiency: Expert in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and proficient in Canva for digital content creation.
Sector Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Higher Education system, specifically UK university admissions processes and entry requirements.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills, with a focus on high-level customer service.
Core Competencies
Detail Orientation: Ability to spot discrepancies in documentation and perform thorough due diligence.
Organizational Mastery: Capable of managing multiple student files while maintaining office operational standards.
Proactivity: A self-starter who follows up on leads without constant supervision.
