Job Description:
The Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) is looking for a visionary Outreach and Admissions Manager to serve as the gateway to our world-class institution. In this role, you are not just managing an enrollment funnel; you are curating the future leadership of Africa. You will lead the charge in identifying and attracting the continent’s most brilliant young minds through strategic recruitment, creative marketing, and meticulous admissions management. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who understands the intricacies of the Nigerian educational landscape (including JAMB compliance) and possesses the relationship-building prowess to influence high school counselors, parents, and prospective students alike.
Requirements:
1. Recruitment Strategy & Institutional Standards
Inbound & Outbound Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment roadmap to build a pipeline of high-potential students.
Regulatory Compliance: Act as the institutional lead for JAMB relations, setting cut-off marks and admission requirements that balance national regulations with NUTM’s elite standards.
Strategic Scouting: Identify and represent NUTM at elite career fairs, conferences, and high-impact educational events across the region.
2. End-to-End Admissions Lifecycle Management
Process Excellence: Oversee the entire admissions funnel, ensuring an efficient, professional, and personalized experience for every applicant.
Selection & Assessment: Lead the evaluation of transcripts and supporting documents, and conduct high-level interviews to select candidates who align with NUTM’s rigorous standards.
Operational Leadership: Manage and mentor a dedicated team of admissions staff, fostering a culture of precision and student-centric support.
Seamless Onboarding: Coordinate with faculty and staff to ensure a world-class transition from "Admitted Student" to "Enrolled Scholar."
3. Marketing, Branding & Relationship Management
Digital & Content Strategy: Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling brochures, social media content, and advertisements that resonate with tech-savvy youth and professional parents.
Stakeholder Network: Build and maintain an influential network of high school administrators, career advisors, and educational bodies to ensure NUTM is the "Top-of-Mind" choice for talent.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize CRM systems and digital marketing analytics to monitor campaign effectiveness and pivot strategies based on data.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Professional Experience
Academic: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Communications, Education Management, etc.).
Leadership: Minimum of 3 years of management experience in student recruitment or admissions within the higher education sector.
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Nigerian educational landscape, including current admission policies, JAMB frameworks, and secondary school cycles.
Technical & Soft Skills
Strategic Mindset: A data-driven thinker capable of developing innovative outreach models.
Systems Proficiency: Strong command of CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire diverse audiences.
