Job Description:
Strengths Africa is seeking a high-caliber Training & Learning Assistant (TLA) to anchor our on-ground operations and training delivery in Lagos. This is not merely a logistics role; you are the architect of the learning experience and the face of the brand. You will be responsible for synchronizing faculty, high-profile venues, and diverse participants to ensure every session is executed with professional precision. Requirements:
1. End-to-End Program Coordination
Pre-Training Preparation: Own the full logistical cycle, including venue selection, equipment setup (projectors, sound), and the preparation of high-quality learning materials.
On-Ground Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between Strength Africa HQ, faculty members, and external partners to ensure total alignment with brand standards.
Flow Management: Proactively manage the session flow, ensuring timings are respected and facilitators are supported to deliver maximum impact.
2. Participant Engagement & Media Capture
Enrollment & Intake: Manage participant registration, attendance logs, and the distribution of learning documentation.
Content Capture: Use a high-quality smartphone or camera to capture professional photos and video testimonials that reflect the energy and impact of the session.
Facilitation Support: Actively support participant engagement and troubleshooting during live sessions to maintain a high-energy learning environment.
3. Analytics, Reporting & AI Integration
Insight-Driven Reporting: Collect post-training feedback and translate data into comprehensive reports that highlight outcomes and areas for improvement.
Tech Proficiency: Leverage AI tools and modern office suites (Google Workspace/MS Office) to streamline reporting, communication, and coordination tasks.
Continuous Improvement: Research and suggest ways to optimize the "Lagos Learning Experience" based on participant feedback and local trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
Background & Experience
Education: HND/BSc in any discipline.
Proven Tenure: 2–5 years of experience in training coordination, event management, NGO program support, or high-level learning operations.
Location: Must be a resident of Lagos State (applications from non-residents will not be considered).
Core Competencies
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to represent the organization to senior faculty and corporate partners.
Technical Savvy: Fluency in AI tools, proficiency in Excel/Sheets, and a basic working knowledge of AV equipment (projectors, mics).
Execution Mindset: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders simultaneously without losing focus on detail.
