Job Description:

Gabs Cooperative is looking for a creative, energetic, and digitally-savvy NYSC Corps Member to lead our online narrative. In an era where digital presence defines trust, your role is to humanize our brand, grow our community, and educate the public on the benefits of our cooperative services.

This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a brand's social media ecosystem. You won't just be posting; you’ll be a digital strategist—experimenting with reels, managing professional LinkedIn threads, and designing viral-worthy content. If you are serving in your NYSC year and want to transition from a "content consumer" to a "growth marketer," this is where your career begins.

Requirements:

1. Multi-Platform Content Architecture

  • Platform Management: Take the reins of our Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok channels, ensuring a vibrant and active presence.

  • Content Creation: Conceptualize and produce high-quality visual assets—from aesthetic stories and trend-driven Reels/TikToks to professional LinkedIn carousels.

  • Trend Integration: Actively monitor social media trends and "meme culture" to find creative ways to make cooperative services relatable and engaging.

2. Community Growth & Engagement

  • Active Moderation: Act as the voice of Gabs Cooperative, responding to comments and DMs with professional wit and empathy.

  • Awareness Campaigns: Support the design and execution of online campaigns aimed at promoting our savings, loans, and investment programs.

  • Brand Consistency: Work closely with the core team to ensure all graphics and copy align with our established brand voice and visual identity.

3. Analytics & Portfolio Development

  • Performance Tracking: Use platform insights to track what works. Prepare simple monthly reports to show growth in reach, engagement, and follower count.

  • Creative Tools: Utilize tools like Canva, CapCut, or the Adobe Suite to maintain a professional edge in all creative output.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • NYSC Status: Must be a current NYSC Corps Member (Batch A, B, or C) looking for a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) or currently serving.

  • Digital Literacy: A strong understanding of social media algorithms and how content travels across different platforms.

  • Communication: Excellent writing skills for captions, blog posts, and community interactions.

Core Competencies

  • Creativity: Ability to turn "financial/cooperative topics" into exciting visual stories.

  • Proactivity: A self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions to jump on a trending topic.

  • Discipline: Ability to manage a content calendar and meet strict posting deadlines.
