Job Description:

• We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a reputable Civil and Construction Engineering Company based in Ikeja, Lagos.
• The role involves leading and supervising civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil and structural construction projects.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and material usage.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and progress assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Review engineering drawings, designs, and material specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in site supervision and project execution.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• COREN registration is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in a civil or construction engineering company is highly desirable.

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Eng / B.Tech / HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7–10 years relevant experience in civil and construction engineering projects.
