Job Description:

We are seeking a highly intelligent, multidisciplinary Electrical Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of complex electrical systems. This role is built for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between abstract schematics and physical manufacturing. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle—navigating technical challenges in construction, energy, or tech environments while ensuring every system meets rigorous global safety and regulatory standards. If you are an expert at troubleshooting high-level systems and managing cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, compliant solutions, we want you at the core of our engineering operations.

Requirements:

1. Advanced Schematic Design & Engineering

• Circuit Architecture: Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, or Altium).

• Load Analysis: Conduct complex electrical load calculations, fault studies, and coordination analyses to ensure system resilience.

• Innovation: Design custom electrical components and control systems tailored to specific project requirements in energy or industrial tech.

2. Manufacturing Oversight & Quality Control

• Production Management: Oversee the fabrication and assembly of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and material quality.

• Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with component manufacturers and subcontractors to ensure parts meet technical requirements.

• Prototyping: Lead the testing of prototypes and "first-run" systems, identifying design flaws before mass production or site installation.

3. Project Leadership & Regulatory Compliance

• Technical Standards: Ensure all designs and installations strictly comply with international and local codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC, or SON standards).

• Project Lifecycle Management: Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for large-scale engineering projects from inception to handover.

• Safety & Environment: Implement rigorous health and safety protocols (HSE) to protect personnel and equipment during installation and operation.

4. Troubleshooting & System Optimization

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead the diagnostic process for complex system failures, implementing permanent engineering fixes rather than temporary patches.

• On-site Support: Provide high-level technical guidance to field technicians during the installation of substations, smart grids, or industrial machinery.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Expertise

• Education: Minimum of a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering (COREN registration or equivalent professional chartership is highly preferred).

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction, energy, or high-tech manufacturing.

• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), or specialized electrical simulation software (ETAP, PSS/E).

• Systems Thinking: Ability to see how individual electrical components interact within a massive industrial or building ecosystem.

• Commercial Acumen: Understanding the cost implications of design choices and manufacturing delays.
