Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber General Manager to take full ownership of the operations, budgets, and personnel of our local business unit. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be the primary driver of organizational health—balancing daily operational efficiency with long-term strategic growth.

You will act as the bridge between corporate vision and local execution, designing the strategies that achieve our expansion goals while ensuring every department (Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations) functions at peak performance. If you are a results-driven leader with a "solutions-first" mindset and the ability to turn financial data into actionable growth, we want you to lead our team.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Growth & Operational Excellence

  • Business Architecture: Design high-level strategies and set measurable goals for market growth and business expansion.

  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine existing business functions to improve financial performance and operational throughput.

  • Risk Management: Identify and provide immediate solutions to critical business issues, such as profit decline, competitive threats, or operational bottlenecks.

2. Financial Stewardship & Governance

  • Fiscal Management: Maintain rigorous oversight of the business unit's budget, optimizing expenses without compromising on quality or safety.

  • Reporting & Transparency: Prepare comprehensive, data-driven reports for upper management, providing clear visibility into the unit's financial and operational health.

  • Policy Enforcement: Set and maintain internal policies that ensure full compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.

3. People Leadership & Organizational Culture

  • Talent Development: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff, ensuring the organization is equipped with the right talent.

  • Performance Governance: Direct the employee assessment process, fostering an environment where staff work productively and develop professionally.

  • Conflict Resolution: Act as the final point of escalation for employee conflicts, ensuring a professional and collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of an OND / HND qualification.

  • Experience: Proven track record as a General Manager or in a similar executive-level role with full P&L responsibility.

  • Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of core business functions, including Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations.
