Job Description:

Trust Wallet is seeking a visionary Business Development Director to architect and lead our global partnership ecosystem. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be the primary driver of Trust Wallet’s market expansion, identifying and executing high-stakes alliances across the Web3, DeFi, and Fintech landscapes.

You are not just a deal-closer; you are a strategic operator capable of navigating the complex interplay between decentralized protocols, developer communities, and traditional financial institutions. Your mission is to position Trust Wallet as the definitive gateway to the decentralized web by cultivating a self-sustaining ecosystem of dApps, protocols, and strategic partners that drive exponential user growth and revenue.

Requirements:

1. Partnership Ecosystem & Lifecycle Management

  • Strategic Alliances: Cultivate high-impact partnerships with Layer 1/Layer 2 protocols, dApps, and liquidity providers to enhance Trust Wallet’s utility and visibility.

  • Deal Execution: Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle—from sophisticated outreach and complex multi-party negotiations to successful integration and long-term scaling.

  • Network Advocacy: Act as the face of Trust Wallet within the global Web3 community, engaging with VCs, developer hubs, and protocols to cement our leadership position.

2. Strategic Intelligence & Growth Analytics

  • Market Mapping: Conduct deep-dive competitive analyses of the Web3 landscape to identify white-space opportunities for user acquisition and product innovation.

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Leverage rigorous impact analysis and performance metrics to optimize BD initiatives, ensuring every partnership delivers measurable ROI.

  • Executive Advisory: Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to prioritize opportunities, providing insights on technological shifts, competitor moves, and regulatory landscapes.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Product Synergy: Translate partner feedback into actionable product requirements, building compelling business cases for new features and developer-centric tools.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Marketing, Content, and DevRel teams to ensure partner success and promote Trust Wallet’s developer initiatives.

  • Team Mentorship: Guide and scale the Business Development team, fostering a culture of high performance, scalability, and continuous professional growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: 5–7 years of senior business development experience in Fintech, Cryptocurrency, or hyper-growth tech sectors.

  • Track Record: Proven history of closing high-value, complex deals that resulted in significant user or revenue growth.

  • Network: Established, high-level connections within the Web3 ecosystem (Protocols, dApps, VCs, and Exchanges).

Core Competencies

  • Web3 Mastery: Deep technical and commercial understanding of blockchain trends, DeFi growth models, and the competitive wallet landscape.

  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions in high-stakes environments.
