Job Description:
WattWise is seeking a proactive, "boots-on-the-ground" Marketing Associate to drive the adoption of our energy solutions across the Nigerian real estate and power sectors. This is not a desk job; we are looking for a results-driven individual who thrives on attending industry conferences, visiting construction sites, and pitching directly to decision-makers at DISCOs and property development firms. You will be the face of WattWise, responsible for translating our technical innovations into clear, value-driven benefits for our clients. Requirements:
1. Field Marketing & Lead Generation
Active Networking: Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and real estate events to identify prospects and schedule high-value follow-up meetings.
Direct Outreach: Conduct "cold" and "warm" outreach via in-person visits, phone calls, and emails to introduce WattWise solutions to new markets.
Demonstrations: Organize and lead product presentations at client offices or active building sites, showcasing the tangible benefits of our technology.
2. Relationship Management & Conversion
Stakeholder Mapping: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers in Real Estate firms, Property Management companies, and DISCO technical departments.
Sales Coordination: Act as the bridge between prospects and the WattWise technical team, ensuring all technical inquiries are resolved to facilitate a sale.
Proposal Development: Draft professional proposals, quotations, and follow-up communications that clearly outline the ROI of our installations.
3. Brand Support & Digital Presence
Content Strategy: Brief graphic designers on the creation of brochures and pitch decks; manage the company’s LinkedIn and website updates to reflect recent successes.
Social Proof: Collect customer testimonials and develop case studies from successful installations to build market credibility.
Performance Tracking: Maintain a detailed log of all prospect interactions and conversion rates to measure the effectiveness of various marketing channels.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in any related field (Marketing, Business, or Engineering preferred).
Proven Tenure: 1–2 years of experience in B2B marketing or sales.
Preferred Sectors: Background in Energy, Real Estate, or Power is a significant advantage.
Core Competencies
Communication Mastery: Ability to take complex technical energy concepts and explain them in simple, compelling terms.
Field Independence: Self-motivated and comfortable working independently "in the field" without constant supervision.
Software Literacy: Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for lead tracking).
Personality: Outgoing, resilient, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
