Job Description:
Greyfield Hotel & Apartments is seeking a commercially savvy and creative Marketing Manager to lead our growth and brand visibility. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our revenue-generating strategies, focusing on driving high room occupancy, maximizing conference hall bookings, and increasing patronage across our two restaurants and leisure facilities. You will bridge the gap between digital brand management and traditional corporate sales, ensuring that Greyfield remains a top-tier choice for both business and leisure travelers. Requirements:
1. Multi-Outlet Revenue Strategy
Portfolio Marketing: Develop and execute monthly marketing plans targeting specific segments for rooms, restaurants, gym, and swimming pool.
F&B Promotion: Drive foot traffic to our two restaurants through themed nights, seasonal menus, and local food promotions.
Event Sales: Position the conference hall as a premier venue for corporate trainings, weddings, and social gatherings.
Leisure Sales: Market ancillary facilities (gym/pool) to the local Surulere/Lagos community to build consistent non-room revenue.
2. Digital Presence & Brand Stewardship
OTA & Online Management: Oversee the hotel’s visibility on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) like Booking.com and Expedia, as well as Google and social media.
Content Excellence: Ensure high-quality visual content (photography and video) reflects the brand standards across all digital touchpoints.
Reputation Management: Proactively monitor and respond to guest reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, and social media to maintain a 5-star brand image.
3. Corporate Relationship Management
B2B Outreach: Identify and sign corporate accounts, negotiating rates with government organizations, NGOs, and blue-chip companies.
Property Inspections: Organize and lead "Fam" (familiarization) visits and property tours for event planners and travel agents.
Sales Intelligence: Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure Greyfield’s Average Daily Rate (ADR) and value proposition remain competitive.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven Tenure: Significant experience in hospitality marketing or sales, specifically within the Nigerian hotel sector.
Digital Literacy: Strong proficiency in managing social media business suites and working with OTAs.
Core Competencies
Analytical Skills: Ability to track marketing ROI and prepare detailed performance reports for management.
Relationship Building: Exceptional negotiation and networking skills to secure corporate contracts.
Creativity: A "growth mindset" with the ability to design festive and seasonal campaigns that fill rooms during low-demand periods.
