Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity IT Sales Account Manager to join our Strategic Business Unit in Ikeja, Lagos. This is a senior-level sales role (4+ years experience) designed for a "Technology Solutions Consultant"—someone who doesn't just sell products but engineers long-term value for clients through deep technical understanding and relationship mastery.

Your mission is to serve as the primary bridge between our technology portfolio and our most valued clients. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from identifying multimillion-naira budgets to closing complex bids and up-selling sophisticated IT infrastructure. If you have the passion for selling and the technical acumen to navigate the competitive Lagos IT market, we want you to drive our profitable growth.

Requirements:

1. Portfolio Growth & Revenue Engineering

  • Account Expansion: Identify and capture new sales opportunities within existing accounts through aggressive up-selling and cross-selling of IT products and services.

  • Proposal Architecture: Lead the preparation of high-impact proposals, bids, and quotes that align with client budgets and technical requirements.

  • Target Achievement: Execute agreed-upon sales strategies to ensure consistent, profitable revenue growth within your defined Line of Business (LOB).

2. Relationship Mastery & Client Advocacy

  • Strategic Liaison: Create and nurture long-term relationships with assigned customers, acting as their primary point of contact and internal advocate.

  • Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and manage client conflicts, ensuring rapid escalation and resolution to maintain portfolio health.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with clients to ensure a "Satisfied Clientele" status, utilizing feedback loops to improve service delivery.

3. Cross-Functional Synergy

  • Technical Integration: Ensure a cordial and efficient synergy between the sales team and the technical/engineering teams to deliver seamless solutions.

  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor movements, and emerging technology solutions to stay ahead in the Ikeja tech corridor.

  • Records Governance: Maintain and update accurate customer contact records and interaction logs to ensure data-driven account management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of a First Degree in any related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in an active sales role specifically within the IT Sector.

  • Environment: Proven experience thriving in a target-driven environment is an added advantage.

Core Competencies

  • Solution Selling: Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and complex technical solutions.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and active listening skills.
