Unified Payment is a fast-leading financial technology company that provides seamless, secure, and efficient digital payment solutions. We enable businesses and individuals to send, receive, and manage payments across multiple channels through a single, integrated platform, driving financial inclusion, operational efficiency, and innovation in the digital payments ecosystem.
Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Revenue Assurance to serve as the ultimate guardian of our organization’s financial ecosystem. In the complex world of multi-scheme payment processing (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, etc.), revenue integrity is not just about accounting—it is about forensic precision in a high-velocity transactional environment.
Your mission is to provide independent assurance that every kobo earned is captured, billed, and collected. You will lead a high-level audit function designed to "plug" leakages, optimize secondary settlements, and ensure that our systems (ERP, POS, Billing) are configured for absolute data integrity. If you are a chartered professional (ACA/ACCA) with at least 10 years of experience and the technical depth to use data analytics (SQL/Power BI) to audit billions in transactions, we want you to lead our revenue defense.
Requirements:
1. Transactional Integrity & Scheme Assurance
Receivables Verification: Lead the forensic audit of receivables against actual collections for domestic and international schemes including Visa, MasterCard, Amex, CUP, and Payattitude.
Clearing & Settlement Governance: Perform rigorous quality checks to forestall duplicate or incomplete clearing file submissions, ensuring compliance with scheme-defined time windows.
Secondary Settlement Accuracy: Verify the completeness of files generated for local and secondary settlements to ensure no value is lost during the reconciliation cycle.
2. Leakage Detection & Risk Mitigation
Leakage Forensics: Identify and quantify revenue leakages, control gaps, and process inefficiencies across the revenue lifecycle.
Compliance Stewardship: Assess all revenue recognition processes against IFRS/GAAP standards and internal regulatory policies.
Emerging Risk Monitoring: Proactively monitor for new control issues or system vulnerabilities that could impact financial reporting accuracy or transactional transparency.
3. Systems Audit & Data Analytics
System Integrity: Review the configurations of billing systems, ERPs, and POS terminals to ensure they support accurate revenue capture.
Data-Driven Auditing: Utilize advanced tools like ACL, IDEA, or SQL to perform deep-dive data analytics and identify anomalies in high-volume transaction logs.
Collaborative Control: Partner with IT Audit and Finance teams to ensure that the "Information Pipeline" from transaction to report remains unbroken.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in an audit leadership role focused on revenue assurance or financial controls.
Sector Expertise: Proven track record in Banking, FinTech, Telecommunications, or large-scale corporate audit environments.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Certification (MANDATORY): Must hold at least one: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, or CIA.
Technical Competencies
Data Analytics: Proven ability to use Power BI, SQL, ACL, or similar tools to automate audit testing.
Methodology: Strong mastery of risk-based auditing and revenue recognition principles.
Leadership: Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across Finance, IT, and Operations.
