We partner with organizations to deliver AI-First Expert Technology Services that drive meaningful impact in AI, Customer Experience, and Cybersecurity. We turn complexity into clarity and potential into progress—in a place where people lead and tech empowers.

Job Description:

TeKnowledge is seeking a high-precision Accountant to join our Finance Business Support Services (FBSS) hub in Lagos. In a global organization spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, the FBSS is the engine room of financial integrity. This role is designed for a "Systems-Centric Accountant"—someone who excels in a centralized, process-driven environment and thrives on cross-border collaboration.

Your mission is to provide seamless, reliable, and compliant financial support across multiple countries. Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and a high-volume ticketing system, you will manage everything from intercompany journals to multi-currency bank reconciliations. If you have the discipline to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the technical depth to navigate complex ERP workflows, we want you to power our global finance operations.

Requirements:

1. Centralized Transaction Engineering

  • D365 Data Governance: Capture and validate high-volume transactions relating to Payables, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Cash/Bank within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

  • Lease Accounting (IFRS 16): Manage the lifecycle of leases, including additions, modifications, and monthly terminations, ensuring compliance with global reporting standards.

  • Multi-Currency Mastery: Execute journals and reconciliations involving multiple currencies and revaluations across different international business units.

2. Service Excellence & Inquiry Resolution

  • SLA Stewardship: Manage and resolve finance-related requests via the ticketing system, ensuring all queries are addressed within agreed service levels and KPIs.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary interface between in-country finance representatives, vendors, and the FBSS hub to resolve outstanding items.

  • Complex Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate intricate financial discrepancies to the Team Supervisor, ensuring a "Zero-Error" reporting environment.

3. Cash Management & Forensic Reconciliation

  • Bank Sovereignty: Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and ledger entries across various global banking platforms.

  • Audit & Policy Compliance: Uphold standardized FBSS internal policies, ensuring every transaction is forensic-ready and compliant with global finance protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of core experience in AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany processes.

  • Systems Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar Tier-1 ERPs) and ticketing platforms.

  • Shared Services DNA: Prior experience in a Shared Services or Centralized Finance environment is highly preferred.

Core Competencies

  • Technical Accounting: Strong understanding of IFRS 16 and multi-currency revaluation concepts.

  • Data Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with working with electronic bank files.

  • Global Mindset: Ability to work "adjusted hours" to provide overlap with regions in the West (Americas), Central (EMEA), or East (APAC).
