Job Description:
- The IT & Administration Intern will provide essential support to our information technology and administrative departments.
- This is a one-year internship program specifically designed for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.
- Reporting directly to the IT lead, you will help maintain the security, reliability, and efficiency of the Foundation’s digital and physical office infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & IT Operations:
- First-Level Troubleshooting: Provide immediate technical support to staff regarding hardware, software, and network issues; escalate complex problems to senior IT personnel.
- System Monitoring: Assist in the daily operation and monitoring of IT infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and security compliance.
- Inventory & Documentation: Maintain an accurate IT asset register (hardware/software licenses) and update system documentation and records.
- Project Support: Actively participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, security patches, and new technology deployments.
Administration & Digital Enablement:
- Digital Onboarding: Assist in training new staff on internal systems, security protocols, and digital collaboration tools.
- Operational Support: Handle core administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and coordinating office activities.
- Data & Reporting: Support data entry tasks, system updates, and the generation of basic operational reports.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact between internal teams and external vendors for service repairs or procurement.
Requirements:
Technical Proficiency:
- Microsoft 365 Ecosystem: Basic understanding of Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint for enterprise collaboration.
- Advanced Excel: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and data organization) is highly required for reporting tasks.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to perform basic diagnostic steps on hardware and office peripherals (printers, routers, etc.).

- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to provide effective first-level support to staff.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- NYSC Status: Must be a currently serving Corps Member (2025/2026 Batch) looking for a PPA.
