Job Description:
Our client, a recognized leader in Nigeria’s automobile and industrial cooling sectors, is seeking a high-caliber HVAC B2B Sales Executive. This role is designed for a strategic deal-maker who can navigate the complexities of corporate procurement and technical specifications. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint in the HVAC market by securing large-scale contracts with corporate organizations, developers, and industrial partners. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of thermal comfort systems with a sophisticated approach to relationship management and contract negotiation.
Requirements:
1. Corporate Business Development & Pipeline Management
Strategic Prospecting: Identify and penetrate high-value corporate accounts, including real estate developers, facility management firms, and industrial hubs.
Pipeline Orchestration: Manage the end-to-end sales funnel—from initial lead generation and site surveys to technical proposal submission and final closing.
Network Cultivation: Leverage an existing network of corporate decision-makers to drive new business opportunities and brand preference.
2. Technical Solutioning & Presentations
Consultative Selling: Translate complex HVAC technical specifications (BTU requirements, energy efficiency ratings, VRF systems) into clear business value and ROI for clients.
Product Demonstrations: Lead high-impact presentations and technical walkthroughs for architects, consultants, and C-suite executives.
Collaboration: Partner with the technical and installation teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with client infrastructure.
3. Negotiation & Relationship Management
Contractual Mastery: Lead high-stakes negotiations on pricing, service level agreements (SLAs), and maintenance contracts to ensure profitable and sustainable business.
Account Stewardship: Maintain long-term relationships with existing corporate clients to drive repeat business, service renewals, and referrals.
Market Insight: Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor pricing, and emerging HVAC technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven Tenure: A strong track record in B2B technical sales, specifically within HVAC systems or heavy industrial equipment.
Network: Evidence of successfully managing a robust portfolio of corporate customers within the Nigerian market.
Core Competencies
Technical Literacy: Deep knowledge of HVAC installation and maintenance protocols is a significant advantage.
Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive: Results-oriented and energetic, with the discipline to meet aggressive sales targets with minimal supervision.
