Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, strategically-minded HR Manager to drive the people operations of our real estate firm. This is not a traditional administrative HR role; it is a Performance-Driven Mandate. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our most valuable assets—our licensed agents and property management teams. Your goal is to build a high-performance culture that thrives under pressure, stays strictly compliant with real estate ethics, and meets aggressive sales and leasing targets. If you are an HR professional who understands the "hustle" of the property market and has the analytical rigor to manage complex commissions and workforce planning, this role is for you.

Requirements:

1. Specialized Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Licensed Agent Recruitment: Build a pipeline of high-caliber, licensed real estate agents and property professionals.

  • Premium Onboarding: Design and execute orientation programs that get new agents "market-ready" quickly, focusing on portfolio knowledge and ethical sales practices.

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs across sales, leasing, and facility management teams.

2. Performance Management & Compensation

  • Sales-Centric Appraisal: Develop and manage performance tracking systems that align with sales quotas, leasing targets, and property management KPIs.

  • Ethics & Market Training: Implement continuous learning programs focusing on real estate market trends, property law updates, and professional ethics.

  • Budget & HRIS Oversight: Manage the HR budget and maintain the HRIS, ensuring accurate tracking of employee data and performance metrics.

3. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • High-Pressure Advocacy: Act as a mediator and support system for staff in high-stress sales roles, fostering a culture of resilience and professional integrity.

  • Legal Governance: Ensure all HR practices and employment contracts comply with the Nigerian Labour Act and specific real estate regulatory frameworks.

  • Negotiation & Leadership: Lead sensitive negotiations and disciplinary processes with tact, maintaining absolute confidentiality and brand protection.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience

  • Tenure: 3–5 years of progressive HR experience. Experience within the Real Estate or high-end Sales sectors is a significant advantage.

  • Education: HND or B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Gender Preference: This position is specifically open to female candidates.

Core Competencies

  • Labor Law Mastery: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Analytical Prowess: Ability to use data to analyze turnover, performance trends, and recruitment ROI.

  • Interpersonal Finesse: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing strong personalities in a competitive environment.

  • Software Proficiency: High level of comfort with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
