Job Description:
We are seeking a highly disciplined and strategic General Supervisor to serve as the operational backbone of our organization. You will be responsible for enforcing all policies, rules, and regulations that govern our facility, ensuring that every department—from security to the kitchen—functions with clockwork precision. This role demands a holistic leader who understands that hospitality excellence is a product of high standards, strict compliance, and a "customer-first" culture. Your mission is to oversee daily operations, drive profitability, and protect the brand’s reputation through rigorous quality assurance.
Requirements:
1. Full-Spectrum Operational Management
Departmental Oversight: Supervise daily operations across all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Security) to ensure maximum efficiency.
SOP Implementation: Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for every guest.
Financial Stewardship: Monitor key financial metrics and resource allocation to meet revenue targets and optimize the guest house budget.
2. Leadership & Team Performance
Team Command: Lead and inspire a diverse team to achieve organizational objectives and maintain high performance.
Talent Development: Manage the recruitment, training, and continuous development of employees to sustain service excellence.
Performance Audits: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to bridge skill gaps.
3. Strategic Planning & Growth
Market Positioning: Formulate and execute strategies to enhance business growth and stay ahead of local competitors.
Revenue Innovation: Identify new revenue streams and potential partnerships to maximize the facility’s earning potential.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on hospitality trends and competitor activities to adapt internal strategies effectively.
4. Quality Assurance & Risk Management
Guest Feedback Loop: Address guest complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and long-term loyalty.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure the facility adheres strictly to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements (e.g., fire safety, food hygiene).
Facility Assessment: Regularly inspect the physical premises and service delivery to maintain or exceed our 5-star quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Background
Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry with a proven track record of success.
Core Competencies
Holistic Leadership: Deep understanding of the inner workings of every department, from the security gate to the kitchen floor.
Decision-Making: Strong ability to make firm, objective decisions under pressure.
Technical Proficiency: Fluent in the use of Hospitality Management Software (PMS) and digital reporting tools.
Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
