Job Description:
We are seeking a disciplined and high-energy Restaurant Supervisor to drive operational excellence within our outlet. Reporting directly to the Outlet Manager, you will act as the vital bridge between management and frontline staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that our standards for food safety, customer service, and speed are never compromised. This is a "hands-on" leadership role where you will manage shift pacing, enforce staff discipline, and take full command of the outlet in the manager’s absence. Requirements:
1. Operational Leadership & Shift Management
Deputy Oversight: Manage the full operations of the outlet in the absence of the Outlet Manager, ensuring zero dip in service standards.
Service Delivery: Oversee both front-end (customer-facing) and back-end (kitchen) coordination to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly service.
Staff Discipline: Enforce the company’s code of conduct, managing staff attendance, grooming standards, and on-floor behavior.
2. Sales, Inventory & Stock Control
Performance Tracking: Support the manager in achieving daily sales targets and implementing localized tactics to drive footfall.
Stock Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stockouts and implement strict waste-reduction measures in the kitchen.
Inventory Reporting: Assist in daily reconciliations and ensure all stock and financial reports are accurate and submitted on time.
3. Compliance, Safety & Training
Food Safety: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Quality Control: Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure every meal served meets the brand's quality benchmarks.
On-the-Job Training: Coach and mentor frontline staff, identifying skill gaps and providing immediate training to improve performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in any field.
Professional History: 2 – 4 years of experience in a supervisory role within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or hospitality industry.
Sector Knowledge: Deep understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen workflows, POS systems, and shift handovers.
Skills & Competencies
Leadership: Strong people management skills with the ability to resolve conflicts between staff or with customers quickly and professionally.
Resilience: Ability to work under intense pressure during peak "rush" hours and manage long shifts effectively.
Numerical Skills: Proficiency in basic math for stock taking, waste calculation, and sales reporting.
Accountability: A high level of integrity—you are a role model for the brand's culture and ethics.
