We are seeking an elegant, professional, and service-oriented Front Desk Officer to be the heartbeat of our guest experience. As the first point of contact in a luxury environment, you are more than a receptionist; you are a brand ambassador and a concierge of experiences. You will be responsible for delivering seamless, personalized service—from the initial warm welcome to the final farewell. The ideal candidate possesses a genuine passion for hospitality, a "guest-first" intuition, and the ability to manage complex operations with poise and discretion.
Requirements:
1. Guest Relations & Elite Experience
The First Impression: Provide an exquisite welcome, ensuring every guest feels recognized and valued from the moment they enter the lobby.
Bespoke Service: Anticipate guest needs before they are voiced, providing personalized recommendations and services that exceed luxury benchmarks.
Conflict Resolution: Handle guest inquiries and complaints with absolute professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for guest loyalty.
Discretion: Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and privacy regarding guest profiles and high-profile stays.
2. Operational Command & Coordination
PMS Management: Maintain flawless guest records and room statuses within the Property Management System (PMS).
Inter-Departmental Liaison: Act as the central nervous system of the hotel, coordinating with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B to ensure guest requests are executed perfectly.
Financial Integrity: Process payments, deposits, and complex billing inquiries with 100% accuracy and transparency.
Logistics: Manage room allocations, strategic upgrades, and special occasion arrangements (e.g., anniversaries or VIP arrivals).
3. Sales, Standards & Safety
Revenue Growth: Master the art of the "upsell," promoting premium suites, spa services, and fine dining to enhance both the guest stay and hotel revenue.
Luxury SOPs: Adhere strictly to brand guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent five-star service.
Safety & Security: Maintain a secure environment by following strict health, safety, and key-control protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Technical Skill
Academic Background: Minimum of an OND qualification.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Core Competencies
Communication: Sophisticated verbal and written communication skills with polished etiquette.
Poise: The ability to remain calm, courteous, and efficient during high-pressure check-in windows.
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for detail, from the accuracy of a guest folio to the organization of the front desk.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
