Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Accountant to anchor the financial engine of our engineering operations. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the reconciliation and the precision of the project-cost allocation success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize corporate accounting with the clinical precision required for Tax Compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT), Bank Reconciliations, and Financial Planning. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect", specifically a professional with 4 to 7 years of experience who can blend "Analytical Grit" (monitoring project expenses and liaising with auditors) with the "Operational Agility" required to utilize QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems within a fast-paced construction environment.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Reporting Governance
Sovereignty of Records: Maintain up-to-date ledgers and financial records with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Fiscal Truth."
Reporting Architecture: Prepare high-fidelity monthly and annual financial statements, providing the "Structural Foundation" for executive decision-making.
Integrity Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with CIT, VAT, and PAYE regulations, ensuring the "Source of Regulatory Standing" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Project Logic
Cost Sovereignty: Monitor project cost tracking and expense allocations, acting as the primary "Source of Resource Optimization."
Liquidity Architecture: Perform bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow management, providing the "Functional Foundation" for operational continuity.
Audit Stewardship: Liaise with external auditors and maintain documentation for all transactions, maintaining the "Source of Institutional Transparency."
3. Operational Integrity & Resource Power
Transactional Sovereignty: Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes, acting as the primary "Source of Transactional Throughput."
Planning Architecture: Support budgeting and financial planning activities, providing the "Relational Foundation" for long-term project viability.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 4–7 years of sector-specific expertise to accelerate the "Reconcile-to-Report" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Financial Clarity."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile (Strict & Non-Negotiable)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 4 – 7 years of proven accounting experience within Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
Certification: Professional certification (ICAN or ACCA) is a distinct advantage.
Technical Power: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards.
