Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Utility Officer to ensure the seamless maintenance and operational efficiency of our facilities in Victoria Island. You will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of building utilities, equipment maintenance, and ensuring that our office environment remains functional, safe, and comfortable.

Requirements:

• Facility Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of all building utility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and generator sets.

• Operational Reliability: Ensure that power supply, water treatment systems, and office infrastructure are operational at all times.

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Proactively identify technical faults and perform minor repairs or coordinate with specialized contractors for complex technical issues.

• Vendor & Contractor Liaison: Supervise third-party technicians and contractors to ensure maintenance tasks are completed according to company standards and safety protocols.

• Inventory & Procurement: Manage the stock of utility-related consumables (fuel, lubricants, plumbing materials, bulbs, etc.) and coordinate the procurement of necessary spare parts.

• Safety & Compliance: Monitor health and safety standards within the facility and ensure that all utility systems adhere to local safety regulations.

• Reporting: Maintain detailed maintenance logs and prepare periodic reports on utility performance and expenditure for management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: OND, HND, or Trade Test certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.

• Experience: Proven experience in a similar utility management or facility maintenance role.

• Location: Must be a resident of the Island axis (Victoria Island, Lagos Island, Ikoyi, etc.) to ensure prompt response to operational needs.
