Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of LAGRIDE. In this pivotal role, you will be the custodian of our financial health, responsible for everything from daily cash flow management and fleet financial performance to high-level budgetary planning and strategic investment support. Requirements:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and business plans aligned with LAGRIDE’s growth objectives.

  • Operational Performance Tracking: Monitor daily rental revenue, driver payments, and fleet performance. Conduct variance analysis to provide executive leadership with the insights needed to improve profitability.

  • Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage cash flow planning, treasury operations, and banking relationships to ensure liquidity and operational continuity.

  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure 100% compliance with Nigerian tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.). Lead internal and external audits and serve as the primary liaison with tax consultants and regulatory bodies.

  • Controls & Optimization: Strengthen internal control frameworks to prevent fraud and financial leakages. Implement cost-optimization strategies across fleet and corporate operations.

  • Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team that prioritizes accuracy, speed, and integrity.

  • Capital Strategy: Support fleet expansion projects, analyze capital investments, and assist in identifying funding strategies for growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Professional Certification: ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent certification is required.

  • Experience: 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Sector Edge: Experience in mobility, logistics, leasing, or service-based industries is a significant advantage.

  • Technical Mastery:

    • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.

    • Deep understanding of Nigerian tax law and financial reporting standards.
