Job Description:

1. Strategic Sector Growth

• Define and execute the bank’s corporate banking strategy across key sectors including FMCG, Oil & Gas, Telecoms, Energy, and Government.

• Develop tailored value propositions and bespoke financial products to drive market penetration and client acquisition.

2. Relationship & Portfolio Management

• Lead a high-performance team of Relationship Managers and Sector Heads to deepen client "wallet share" and ensure long-term retention.

• Oversee end-to-end account management, from onboarding and KYC to credit structuring and financial analysis.

3. Revenue Generation & Cross-Selling

• Drive revenue across corporate lending (working capital, term loans), deposits, and cash management solutions (payroll, gateways, POS).

• Identify and capture cross-sell opportunities within Treasury, Digital Banking, and SME units to maximize portfolio yield.

4. Risk Management & Compliance

• Maintain superior asset quality by managing credit risk and minimizing Non-Performing Loans (NPLs).

• Ensure strict adherence to CBN regulations, internal credit policies, and global AML/CFT standards.

5. Leadership & Capability Building

• Monitor and report on portfolio profitability and high-growth market trends.

• Mentor staff in complex credit structuring, financial modeling, and relationship-building techniques.

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Lending, Trade Finance, and Credit Structuring.

• Relationship Management: Proven track record of managing high-net-worth corporate and multinational accounts.

• Leadership: Strong experience leading revenue-focused teams in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a senior capacity within the Financial Services Industry.

Analytical Skills: High proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis for large-scale corporate clients.
