Job Description:
Business Development & Sales: Lead the drive for deposit mobilization and trade transactions. Actively win new accounts and strategically resuscitate dormant relationships to expand the bank’s market share.
Credit & Asset Management: Book high-quality assets and perform continuous portfolio monitoring for early detection of potential defaults.
Deal Structuring: Support the structuring of credits in line with business potential and prepare detailed Transaction Memos with supporting financial background.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain deep relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their financial needs.
Product Marketing: Effectively market the bank’s current product suite and provide insights for the development of new products based on customer feedback.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Manager to implement team strategies and ensure the delivery of top-tier customer service.
Requirements:
echnical Excellence: Strong proficiency in Credit Assessment, Financial Analysis, and Deal Structuring.
Growth Mindset: Proven track record in Sales, Business Development, and Portfolio Management.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, networking, and relationship management abilities.
Communication: Highly developed written and oral communication skills for professional reporting and client engagement.
Strategic Planning: Ability to contribute to budget planning, control, and operational strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: First Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in any discipline, preferably in a business-related field. Higher degrees (MBA/M.Sc.) or professional certifications (CIBN, ICAN, ACCA) are an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant banking experience specifically in Marketing and Credit roles.
Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of the Nigerian business environment, banking policies, and Credit/Risk Management.
