Job Description:
Business Development & Sales: Champion the drive for deposit mobilization and trade transactions. Proactively win new accounts and strategically resuscitate dormant relationships.
Credit & Portfolio Management: Book high-quality assets and conduct continuous portfolio monitoring for early detection of potential defaults.
Deal Structuring: Support the Business Manager in structuring credits aligned with business potential and assist in preparing comprehensive Transaction Memos.
Relationship Management: Develop and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as a specialized financial advisor.
Product Innovation: Effectively market the bank’s product suite and provide market insights to initiate the development of new solutions that meet emerging customer needs.
Strategic Support: Work closely with the Business Manager to implement team strategies, ensure operational excellence, and provide industry-leading customer service.
Requirements:
Technical Mastery: Expertise in Credit Assessment, Financial Analysis, and Deal Structuring.
Growth Focus: Proven track record in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional networking, negotiation, and people management abilities.
Analytical Thinking: Strong reasoning skills coupled with proficiency in budget planning and control.
Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills for professional reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of a First Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in any discipline, preferably business-related. Higher degrees or relevant professional certifications are a significant advantage.
Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of banking experience with a strong background in both Marketing and Credit.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Nigerian business environment, banking structures, and Credit/Risk Management policies.
