Job Description:

  • Business Development & Sales: Lead the drive for deposit mobilization and trade transactions. Actively win new accounts and strategically resuscitate dormant relationships.

  • Credit & Portfolio Management: Book quality assets and conduct rigorous portfolio monitoring to ensure early detection of potential defaults.

  • Deal Structuring: Assist in preparing Transaction Memos and provide deep financial analysis to support the structuring of credits in line with business potential.

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain specialized relationships with clients, providing professional financial solutions and world-class customer service.

  • Product Innovation: Market the bank’s existing suite of products and provide feedback to initiate the development of new products that meet evolving customer needs.

  • Strategic Support: Work closely with the Business Manager to execute team activities and align with the bank’s operational strategy.

Requirements:

  • Financial Mastery: Strong skills in Credit Assessment, Deal Structuring, and Financial Analysis.

  • Strategic Execution: Proven ability in Business Development, Portfolio Management, and Budget Planning/Control.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, networking, and analytical reasoning skills.

  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills for professional reporting and client engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: First Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in any discipline, preferably business-related. Higher degrees (MBA/M.Sc.) or professional certifications (CIBN, ICAN, ACCA) are a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant banking experience specifically in Marketing and Credit roles.

  • Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Nigerian business environment, Credit/Risk Management, and banking structures/policies.
