Job Description:

• Business Development: Lead the drive for deposit mobilization and trade transactions. Actively win new accounts and resuscitate dormant relationships to grow market share.

• Credit & Portfolio Management: Book high-quality assets and conduct rigorous portfolio monitoring to ensure early detection and mitigation of defaults.

• Deal Structuring: Support the Business Manager in structuring credits aligned with business potentials and assist in drafting comprehensive Transaction Memos.

• Relationship Management: Build and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients by providing specialized financial advisory and professional service.

• Product Marketing: Effectively market the bank’s existing products and provide actionable insights for the development of new solutions that meet customer needs.

• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Manager to execute team functions, ensuring operational excellence and strategic growth.

Requirements:

• Technical Mastery: Expertise in Credit Assessment, Financial Analysis, and Deal Structuring.

• Growth Focus: Proven track record in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional networking, negotiation, and people management abilities.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong reasoning skills coupled with proficiency in budget planning and control.

• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills for professional reporting and client engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of a First Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in any discipline, preferably in a business-related field. Higher degrees or relevant professional certifications are a significant advantage.

• Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of banking experience with a strong background in both Marketing and Credit.

• Core Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Nigerian business environment, Credit/Risk Management, and banking structures/policies.
