Job Description:
The Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF), with support from the FCDO, is seeking a high-caliber Digital Content Consultant for a rapid-engagement project: Amplifying Women and Youth Voices for Inclusive Democratic Governance (AWYID-Gov).
This is a 7-day sprint designed to create the visual and narrative engine for civic literacy ahead of the 2027 general elections. We are looking for a creative strategist who can transform complex governance data into high-impact social media graphics, produce professional sensitization videos, and design inclusive infographics that resonate with women, youth, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
Requirements:
1. Visual Identity & Civic Branding
Creative Concepting: Develop a cohesive visual language that aligns with AWYID-Gov branding, ensuring all materials are gender and disability-sensitive.
Graphic Suite: Design 8–10 branded digital graphics including social media templates, quote cards, and civic advocacy messages.
Inclusive Design: Ensure all visual assets are accessible, utilizing high-contrast elements and clear typography for diverse audiences.
2. Multimedia Sensitization (Video Production)
Short-Form Storytelling: Script and produce two (2) high-impact videos (60–90 seconds) focused on inclusive political participation and 2027 election accountability.
Accessibility Features: Incorporate subtitles and accessible visual cues to ensure messages reach the PWD community effectively.
Platform Optimization: Deliver final renders optimized for high engagement on X (Twitter), Instagram, and WhatsApp.
3. Data Visualization & Infographics
Impact Mapping: Translate AWYID-Gov activity statistics and participation data (Gender/Youth/PWD breakdowns) into 2–3 compelling infographics.
Advocacy Storytelling: Design visual narratives that highlight project outcomes and secured governance commitments in Cross River State.
Shareability: Focus on "glanceable" data that encourages social media sharing and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND in Media, Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in graphic design and video production, specifically for civic or advocacy campaigns.
Sector Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the CSO/Development space in Nigeria; knowledge of inclusive communication practices is mandatory.
Technical Agility: Ability to deliver a full suite of professional assets within a strict 1-week window.
Technical Deliverables
Graphics: 8–10 branded digital graphics (JPEG/PNG).
Videos: Two (2) professionally produced 90-second MP4 videos.
Infographics: 2–3 high-resolution data visualizations.
Source Files: All editable files (AI, PSD, PRPROJ, etc.) and a brief completion report.
