Job Description:

Mellon Secure is seeking a strategic, visionary, and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technological evolution. In this role, you will be the architect of our future, designing and scaling the secure, compliant fintech systems that power our cross-border remittances, mobile wallets, and API ecosystems. You will not only define the technical roadmap but also build the high-performance engineering culture required to execute it. Requirements:

1. Technology Strategy & Product Engineering

• Vision & Roadmap: Define and execute a technology strategy that aligns with Mellon Secure’s commercial goals and market expansion plans.

• Core Platform Development: Lead the end-to-end development of our mobile applications, web platforms, and robust API integrations for partners.

• Payment Architecture: Oversee the architecture of high-availability payment gateways, digital wallets, and payout switches.

2. Security, Compliance & Infrastructure

• Security First: Ensure the platform adheres to global fintech security standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) and local regulatory requirements (AML/KYC).

• Distributed Systems: Manage a scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure using microservices to handle high-volume transactions with zero downtime.

• Engineering Excellence: Drive DevOps maturity through automation, robust CI/CD pipelines, and rigorous quality engineering practices.

3. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Team Scaling: Build, mentor, and manage high-performance engineering, security, and product technology teams.

• Executive Collaboration: Partner with the leadership team to drive innovation and represent Mellon Secure in high-level regulatory and partnership engagements.

• Resource Management: Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and third-party integrations to ensure efficient delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

Leadership & Experience

• Proven History: Minimum of 5 years of senior technology leadership experience (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Tech), with a heavy preference for Fintech or Payments backgrounds.

• Ecosystem Expertise: Deep knowledge of mobile wallets, payment switches, cross-border payouts, and the technical side of AML/KYC.

• Scaling Success: A demonstrable track record of scaling both technical platforms and engineering teams from early-stage to high-growth.

Technical Competencies

• Architectural Depth: Strong understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, cloud-native infrastructure, and microservices architecture.

• Platforms: High proficiency in managing mobile (iOS/Android) and web development cycles.

• Compliance Mindset: Practical experience navigating security audits and financial regulatory landscapes.
