Job Description:

We are seeking a technically robust Back-End Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale the server-side systems that power our core internet service products and customer-facing platforms. In this role, you will be the architect of the logic, databases, and APIs that ensure our internal tools and external applications run with maximum uptime and security. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of data structures and is passionate about optimizing application performance for a high-volume ISP environment.

Requirements:

1. Core System Development & API Design

• Robust Engineering: Write clean, performant, and reusable server-side code to power complex web and mobile ecosystems.

• API Architecture: Design, build, and maintain high-concurrency APIs consumed by front-end applications and third-party integrations.

• Database Management: Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL database schemas to ensure data integrity and rapid retrieval for ISP-scale datasets.

2. Integration & Performance Optimization

• Seamless Collaboration: Partner with Front-End Developers to ensure smooth integration of server-side logic with user-facing elements.

• Monitoring & Tuning: Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, focusing on latency reduction and resource efficiency.

• Telecom Synergy: Align back-end logic with telecom/ISP architecture (e.g., billing systems, bandwidth management, or user authentication).

3. Security & Technical Governance

• Data Safeguarding: Implement industry-leading security protocols to protect sensitive user data and prevent unauthorized access.

• Documentation & Quality: Produce clear technical documentation and participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven Tenure: 2+ years of hands-on experience in back-end engineering or professional software development.

• Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with Telecom/ISP architecture (Radius, LDAP, Billing APIs) is highly advantageous.

Technical Skill Set

• Language Proficiency: Strong command of at least one major server-side language: Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET.

• Database Expertise: Advanced knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.

• Engineering Principles: Solid understanding of RESTful services, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.

Soft Skills

• Resilience: Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality code within strict deployment timelines.

• Teamwork: Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration in an Agile environment.
