Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Admin / HR Manager to anchor our operational and people strategy. In a manufacturing environment, efficiency is driven by both the machinery and the people who operate it. This role is designed for a professional who can seamlessly transition from managing complex HR policies to overseeing critical office logistics and basic financial tracking.

Your mission is to serve as the backbone of our organizational development. You will be responsible for building a high-performance culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the financial integrity of daily office transactions. If you have 2+ years of experience—ideally within the manufacturing space—and a "systems-thinking" approach to administration, we invite you to lead our team.

Requirements:

1. Human Resources & Organizational Development

  • Talent Lifecycle: Manage the full recruitment cycle, with a focus on sourcing and onboarding skilled labor and administrative talent essential for manufacturing success.

  • Policy Governance: Develop and enforce HR policies that align with Nigerian Labor Laws, ensuring a safe, compliant, and disciplined workplace.

  • Performance & Culture: Administer appraisal systems that drive productivity and implement engagement initiatives to foster a positive, collaborative culture.

2. Strategic Administration & Office Governance

  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily office functions, ensuring that resources are optimized and the facility operates without friction.

  • Supply Chain & Procurement: Manage vendor relationships and office procurement, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of necessary company resources.

  • Record Integrity: Maintain a rigorous filing and documentation system that ensures all company records are secure, organized, and audit-ready.

3. Basic Accounting & Financial Oversight

  • Cash Flow Stewardship: Track daily inflows and outflows, ensuring accurate recording of petty cash and routine business transactions.

  • Payroll & Invoicing: Support the Payroll Accountant in processing monthly salaries and managing invoices to ensure timely settlements.

  • Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors or accountants to provide the documentation needed for annual fiscal reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Accounting.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a dual HR/Admin role. Direct experience in a manufacturing environment is a significant advantage.

  • Legal Literacy: Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards.

  • Financial IQ: Solid grasp of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.

Core Competencies

  • Organizational Prowess: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure manufacturing setting.

  • Discretion: High level of integrity when handling confidential employee and financial information.

  • Tech Proficiency: Mastery of MS Office Suite and familiarity with HR/Accounting software.
