Job Description:

  • Handle the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and exit procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in both physical and digital formats.
  • Manage employee internal communication
  • Provide administrative support to HR operations and hotel management
  • Coordinate staff performance appraisal processes and development initiatives
  • Track employee attendance to ensure minimal tardiness
  • Monitor employee well-being and promote work-life balance through regular check-ins, support initiatives, and engagement activities.
  • Handle all staff leaves / vacation matters
  • Coordinate all staff rota with the head of department
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally Collaborate with department heads to evaluate operational efficiency
  • Handle staff disciplinary matter in line with organsational policies promoting accountability and ensuring fair and consistent enforcement
  • Liaise with HMO providers and manage staff wellbeing
  • Liaise with Pension Fund Administrators (PFAS) to ensure staff pension is updated
  • Manage and monitor the distribution, use, and retrieval of company assets assigned to staff while maintaining accurate inventory records (laptops, Staff uniforms, phone , printer etc).
  • Oversee the upkeep and proper use of hotel assets, office equipment, and facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and functional to support staff productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and hotel standards
  • Conduct routine quality assurance checks across departments to ensure service excellence
  • Oversee staff training, orientation, and professional development sessions
  • Provide HR reports, memos, and professional correspondence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, etc.) is an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and Nigerian labor laws
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.

Salary

N200,000 - N300,000 per month
