Job Description:

• We are seeking a visionary Head of Procurement to lead our organizational procurement strategy and end-to-end purchasing activities.
• This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality acquisition of goods and services while driving long-term value through strategic sourcing and vendor relationship management.
• You will oversee the procurement lifecycle, from budget management to contract execution, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Sourcing: Develop and implement high-level procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and drive operational efficiency.
• Vendor Management: Lead supplier evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring to build a resilient and reliable supply chain.
• Negotiation & Contracts: Oversee high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.
• Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage procurement budgets to ensure maximum return on investment.
• Risk & Compliance: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing procurement team, fostering professional growth and continuous process improvement.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed procurement metrics and performance reports to the executive leadership team.

Requirements:

• Tech Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and modern digital procurement tools.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Excellence in change management and team leadership

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Certification: Professional certification such as MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM is highly preferred.
• Experience: Proven leadership experience in a senior-level procurement or sourcing role.
