Job Description:
Are you a master of data with a strategic mindset? We are looking for a high-caliber Demand Planner to lead forecasting activities for our assigned regions. Your primary mission is to bridge the gap between Sales ambition and Production reality.
By building accurate demand forecasts and leading the Regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, you will ensure our supply chain remains agile, efficient, and capable of delivering the "perfect order" every time.
Requirements:
Forecast Development & Analysis
Operational Forecasting: Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation and across various time horizons.
Planning Cycles: Build and maintain demand forecasts in strict alignment with standard global planning cycles.
Accuracy Improvement: Drive weekly actions to improve forecast accuracy and perform root-cause analysis on trend deviations.
S&OP Leadership & Cross-Functional Integration
Consensus Building: Lead forecast reviews with Sales and Marketing to establish demand drivers and achieve functional consensus.
S&OP Coordination: Drive the weekly Regional S&OP meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on corrective measures and future trends.
Customer Satisfaction: Coordinate activities to ensure DIFOTAI (Delivered In Full, On Time, and Accurately Invoiced).
Commercial & Inventory Optimization
Promotion Tracking: Partner with Commercial Finance and Marketing to plan promotions and track their execution impact on demand.
Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock rotation across sales locations to mitigate business losses and ensure fresh product availability.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: University Degree or HND in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the FMCG sector.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Data modeling) and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
Leadership & Partnerships:
Proven ability to form effective working partnerships across different departments (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain).
Demonstrated leadership in harnessing resources to deliver results within tight timeframes.
Mindset: Result-oriented with a relentless focus on performance and continuous improvement.
