Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Wireless Solution Sales Engineer to join our team in Lagos. In the rapidly evolving communications landscape of Nigeria, your role is to act as the primary architect of growth. You will take full ownership of wireless product sales, translating complex network requirements into high-impact commercial solutions.
This is a high-visibility role that requires more than just technical knowledge; it requires the strategic mindset to lead "board-level" expansion projects and the tactical skill to win competitive bidding processes. If you can build "war maps" of the competitive landscape and guide regional customers through the entire technological lifecycle, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Sales Ownership & Solution Architecture
Strategy Execution: Implement targeted sales strategies for specific wireless products and regional targets, ensuring the growth of our installed base.
Requirements Shaping: Engage with mid-to-junior level customers to guide their technical requirements toward our optimized wireless solutions.
Customized Design: Translate complex network landscapes into tailored technical and commercial proposals that maximize ROI for the client.
2. Bidding & Project Governance
Bidding Leadership: Lead and manage single-source or single-scenario bidding projects, from strategy development to final contract acquisition.
Project Operations: Oversee order management and sales project operations to ensure a seamless transition from "Sold" to "Deployed."
Operational Targets: Drive centralized procurement share and pricing strategies to achieve regional business goals.
3. Market Intelligence & Competitive Warfare
Competitive Analysis: Collect and monitor real-time data on competitor activities, inventory status, and regional industry trends.
Strategic Mapping: Maintain and update "war maps" and "sandboxes" to visualize our market position and identify areas for defensive or offensive expansion.
Insight Generation: Analyze the local network landscape to identify high-potential board-level expansion projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Relevant experience in ICT products, with a strong preference for a background in Wireless Technologies (4G/5G, Microwave, RAN, etc.).
Technical Design: Proven experience in pre-sales solution design, commercial modeling, or delivery technology.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
Core Competencies
Sales Project Management: Mastery of the sales lifecycle, account group structures, and customer relationship management (CRM).
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence decision-makers at various organizational levels.
Business Acumen: Exposure to business model design, digital marketing, and the "Digital Economy" landscape in Nigeria.
