Job Description:
Are you a high-performing engineering graduate ready to launch a hands-on career in the built environment? MAR&MOR is inviting applications for our 2026 Graduate Traineeship Program. This is not a desk-bound internship; it is a rigorous, site-based grooming process designed to transform young engineers into industry experts.
Through practical site exposure, structured learning, and direct mentorship from veteran engineers, you will master the intricacies of MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting) systems. If you are disciplined, analytical, and ready to work on live construction projects, this is your launchpad.
Requirements:
1. MEPF Systems & Site Operations
Technical Exposure: Gain a deep understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting (MEPF) infrastructure within modern construction.
On-Site Execution: Work on live project sites, observing and participating in the installation and commissioning of complex engineering services.
Blueprint Translation: Learn to translate technical drawings and specifications into physical site implementations.
2. Engineering Design & Documentation
Software Proficiency: Utilize tools like AutoCAD to review and modify engineering designs.
Technical Reporting: Develop professional report-writing skills, documenting site progress, material inspections, and technical challenges.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Assist senior engineers in identifying site-level bottlenecks and proposing effective engineering solutions.
3. Professional Growth & Mentorship
Structured Training: Participate in a performance-evaluated curriculum designed to track your technical and leadership growth.
Mentorship: Receive direct guidance from experienced engineers who will challenge your technical assumptions and foster your professional discipline.
Full-Time Path: Successful trainees who demonstrate exceptional integrity and skill will be considered for permanent employment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Academic & Legal Status
Education: B.Eng/B.Sc/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering only.
Grade: Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1).
NYSC: Must have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps.
Location: Must currently reside in Lagos.
Core Competencies
Technical Curiosity: A genuine interest in the built environment and engineering services.
Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, and the ability to take and execute instructions precisely.
Tools: Basic knowledge of engineering software (AutoCAD) is an added advantage.
