Job Description:

We are seeking a technically proficient and self-driven Webmaster to take full ownership of our digital footprint. This is a hands-on, part-time role designed for an entry to mid-level professional who can bridge the gap between creative design and technical infrastructure.

As our Webmaster, you aren't just "updating pages"—you are the architect of our site’s performance, security, and user journey. You will ensure our platforms are high-speed, mobile-optimized, and secure, while translating complex web data into actionable growth strategies. Requirements:

1. Full-Lifecycle Web Management

• Development & Design: Own the end-to-end design and maintenance of our website(s), ensuring every page is visually consistent with our brand and optimized for a "mobile-first" experience.

• Content Stewardship: Act as the primary lead for all site updates, structural changes, and content uploads, ensuring 100% accuracy and rapid turnaround.

• Infrastructure Oversight: Manage the "engine room"—including domain configurations, hosting environments, and SSL certifications—to ensure constant availability.

2. Performance, SEO & Integrations

• Technical SEO & Speed: Monitor site health (uptime, page load speeds, and indexing) and proactively resolve issues to ensure maximum visibility on search engines.

• Systems Integration: Implement and manage third-party APIs and platform integrations to ensure our website talks seamlessly to our other digital tools.

• Analytics & Insights: Utilize Google Analytics to track user behavior, translating raw traffic data into strategic recommendations for site improvement.

3. Security & Compliance

• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security audits, maintain full site backups, and enforce web security best practices to protect against threats.

• Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure the website remains fully functional across all browsers and devices, maintaining accessibility standards for all users.

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal marketing teams to build high-converting landing pages and support ongoing digital campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience: 1–3 years as a Webmaster or Web Developer.

• Location: Victoria Island, Lagos (Part-Time).

Technical Skill Set

• CMS Mastery: Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.

• Core Languages: Solid proficiency in HTML and CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a significant plus.

• Digital Tools: Working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO principles, and hosting management.

Core Competencies

• Visual Sensibility: A strong eye for clean, modern design and brand consistency.

• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members.

• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple digital priorities and meet tight deadlines.
