Job Description:

We are seeking a high-performance Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team in Maryland, Lagos. This is a mission-critical role within a global-facing technology company that powers some of the largest financial institutions in Africa.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise-grade software, from secure ASP.NET Core API development to crafting responsive frontends in Vue.js or React. Because we operate in the financial sector, we are looking for a developer who prioritizes SOLID principles, security, and maintainability. Requirements:

1. Full-Stack Engineering & Architecture

• Scalable Systems: Research, design, and implement software programs using C# (.NET Core/MVC 5) and modern frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React.js.

• Clean Code Standards: Write efficient, maintainable code following SOLID principles and recognized software design patterns.

• Database Management: Architect and manage relational databases using MSSQL and Postgres, utilizing Entity Framework Core for seamless data mapping.

2. Fintech Specialization & Security

• Secure API Development: Build and manage secure RESTful APIs designed to handle sensitive financial data and enterprise-level integrations.

• Payment Messaging (Advantage): Leverage knowledge of EFT and ISO8583 messaging to support core banking and transaction processing systems.

• Mobile Integration: (Optional) Support the development of mobile extensions using Java, Kotlin, or Flutter to enhance the user ecosystem.

3. Operational Excellence & Collaboration

• QA & Deployment: Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, metrics, and processes to ensure system reliability.

• Agile Integration: Work within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with UX designers, business analysts, and systems architects.

• System Evolution: Identify areas for modification in existing enterprise systems, developing upgrades that enhance operational practicality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Must have completed NYSC.

• Technical Stack: * Backend: ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC 5, C#, Java.

  • Frontend: Razor Pages, Vue.js, React.js, JavaScript.

  • Mobile (Plus): Java, Kotlin, or Flutter.

  • Databases: MSSQL, Postgres, Entity Framework (EF) Core.

• Location: Resident in Lagos; proximity to Maryland is a distinct advantage as this is a fully on-site role.
