Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Video Editor to bring our brand stories to life. In a digital-first world, video is our most powerful tool for engagement. Your mission is to take raw, unpolished footage and transform it into high-impact visual assets that stop the scroll and drive action.
You will be a key player in our creative engine, blending technical mastery of Adobe Premiere and After Effects with a deep understanding of current social media trends (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube). If you are a storyteller at heart who can balance aesthetic beauty with marketing objectives, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Narrative Editing & Storytelling
Dynamic Cutting: Edit raw footage into compelling stories for social media, digital ads, and corporate campaigns, ensuring a fast-paced and engaging viewer experience.
Concept Collaboration: Partner with the creative team to brainstorm and develop video concepts that align with specific campaign goals and brand identity.
Platform Optimization: Tailor video formats, aspect ratios, and pacing for specific platforms—optimizing for the "first 3 seconds" to maximize retention.
2. Technical Enhancements & Motion Graphics
Visual FX & Motion: Use After Effects to apply high-quality motion graphics, typography, and visual effects that elevate the production value.
Sound & Color: Execute professional sound design (mixing, SFX) and color correction/grading to ensure a consistent and cinematic look across all projects.
Asset Management: Maintain a structured library of raw footage, project files, and final exports to ensure efficient delivery and future accessibility.
3. Performance & Project Leadership
Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of social media trends, viral audio, and editing styles to keep our content fresh and competitive.
Deadline Discipline: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, moving from brief to final delivery within tight agency deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certification in Film Production, Media, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, specifically within a digital marketing or creative agency environment.
Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
Core Competencies
Storytelling Instinct: A deep understanding of pacing, rhythm, and emotional arc in short-form and long-form video.
