Job Description:

We are looking for a high-energy Social Media Manager to lead the digital narrative of our import and export operations. In the logistics industry, social media isn't just about "posting"—it’s about building trust, demonstrating reliability, and showing the world how we move goods across borders.

You will be the architect of our digital presence, responsible for turning complex shipping processes into engaging content and converting curious followers into high-value sales leads. If you are a creative storyteller who knows how to navigate Meta Ads Manager and has an eye for viral short-form video, we want you to put our brand on the global map.

Requirements:

1. Content Architecture & Visual Storytelling

  • Trade Storytelling: Develop and execute a content strategy that highlights our logistics expertise, product quality, and successful deliveries.

  • Multimedia Production: Design high-quality graphics and produce "behind-the-scenes" short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) using Canva and CapCut to humanize the import/export process.

  • Platform Management: Own the daily rhythm of our Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok channels, ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice.

2. Paid Growth & Lead Generation

  • Performance Marketing: Manage and optimize social media ad campaigns via Meta Ads Manager with a strict focus on ROI and lead quality.

  • Funnel Optimization: Design content paths that lead users from "awareness" (seeing a post) to "conversion" (inquiring about shipping rates or products).

  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of global trade trends and logistics news to position our brand as a thought leader in the industry.

3. Community Management & Analytics

  • Active Engagement: Be the first line of communication for our online community, responding to inquiries and comments with professional wit and speed.

  • Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly analytics reports that don't just show "likes," but provide deep insights into lead quality and community growth.

  • Local Presence: Utilize your proximity to our Ajao Estate hub to capture real-time content of our operations and shipments.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience managing social media for a corporate brand (experience in logistics or trade is a major plus).

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Location: Must reside within or close to Ajao Estate, Lagos for easy access to our operational hub.

Core Competencies

  • Technical Creativity: Proficiency in Canva and CapCut. Familiarity with the Adobe Suite is a significant advantage.

  • Ad Mastery: Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and audience targeting.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to explain complex trade terms simply.

  • Sales Mindset: A clear understanding of sales funnels and how to drive "bottom-of-the-funnel" actions.
