The catering company still exists as Tastee Fried Chicken's catering operation. In 1997 Mrs. Adedayo incorporated Tastee Fried Chicken and opened her first location in Surulere, Lagos State. She based her restaurant on the business model of the American fast food chicken restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken, where she had previously worked as a manager. Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and leadership-driven Store Manager to oversee our Central Processing Unit (CPU) in Lagos. This role is pivotal in managing the workflow of raw materials and finished ice cream products. You will be responsible for ensuring that all production cycles meet strict quality standards, from recipe adherence to sterilization protocols, while leading a dedicated team to achieve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a proactive manager with a background in food production who can balance technical "Support Analyst" functions with high-level team mentoring and supply chain coordination.

Requirements:

Workflow & Team Leadership

• Operational Oversight: Monitor the Central Processing Unit workflow; receive, prioritize, and delegate tasks to the processing team to ensure seamless output.

• Leadership & Coaching: Provide active mentoring and coaching to team members, fostering a motivated environment focused on high performance.

• Resource Management: Ensure appropriate staffing levels within the unit at all times to meet production demands without interruption.

Production Quality & Compliance

• Recipe Integrity: Enforce strict adherence to specific recipes and formulas to maintain exact standards for product texture, color, flavor, and clarity.

• Data Accuracy: Meticulously record test and production data for every batch, including ingredients utilized, temperature controls, and time cycles.

• Hygiene & Sterilization: Guarantee the daily cleaning and sterilization of factory processing areas and vats in accordance with food safety regulations.

• Regulatory Compliance: Develop and monitor procedures to ensure total compliance with legislation and company policies regarding food safety and SOPs.

Supply Chain & Stakeholder Management

• Distribution: Manage the distribution and record-keeping of raw materials requested for CPU operations.

• Cost Efficiency: Provide the team with accurate data to ensure the supply and distribution of prepared raw materials and ice cream products are handled cost-effectively.

• Feedback Loop: Maintain regular contact with finishing outlet managers to ensure product satisfaction and gather insights for continuous improvement.

• Process Improvement: Offer strategic recommendations to line managers regarding organizational improvements and increased operational efficiencies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Possess an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• Experience:

  • 3–10 years of experience in store management or production oversight, preferably within the food, beverage, or FMCG industry.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of food safety legislation and HACCP principles.

  • Ability to perform Support Analyst functions to troubleshoot workload bottlenecks.

  • Proficiency in production record-keeping and inventory management software.

• Core Competencies:

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in following formulas and monitoring temperature/time cycles.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to motivate a diverse processing team.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for managing outlet manager relationships and reporting to senior leadership.
