Job Description:
- The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase engagement with target audience
- The role involves creating compelling content, monitoring social media platforms, analyzing performance metrics, and staying updated on industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day activities on social media accounts, including scheduling posts and responding to comments/messages.
- Monitor social media trends, competitors, and audience engagement to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, design, and communications to create relevant campaigns and content.
- Plan and manage social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
- Optimize content using SEO principles and social media best practices.
- Build and maintain online communities and customer relationships.
- Manage social media advertising and promotional campaigns where applicable.
- Stay informed on emerging digital tools, trends, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or related fields
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Proficiency in content creation tools and social media management platforms.
- Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar applications is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Salary
