Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, strategic Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence from our Rivers State office. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our brand’s voice, responsible for turning our business objectives into viral narratives and loyal online communities.
The ideal candidate is a proactive creator who lives and breathes social media trends. You aren't just "posting content"; you are managing a sophisticated content ecosystem, analyzing deep metrics to pivot strategy, and managing paid ad budgets to ensure maximum ROI. Requirements:
1. Strategy & Content Orchestration
Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that directly fuels our broader business marketing goals.
Cadence Management: Own the content calendar, ensuring a consistent and high-quality publishing rhythm across all relevant channels.
Multimedia Production: Create, edit, and optimize platform-specific assets—ranging from high-impact graphics to engaging short-form videos.
2. Community Management & Engagement
Brand Voice: Monitor all platforms daily, responding to comments and messages to foster an authentic and positive brand community.
Trend Integration: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring algorithm changes and emerging online trends to keep the brand relevant.
Reputation Management: Act as the frontline defender of the brand, managing feedback and fostering a healthy digital environment.
3. Performance Analytics & Paid Media
Data-Driven Insights: Track performance metrics and prepare detailed reports that translate "likes" into actionable business intelligence.
Paid Social Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, X, etc.) to ensure every Naira of the budget delivers results.
A/B Testing: Continuously test creative headlines and visual styles to inform future strategies and improve conversion rates.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in managing multi-platform social media accounts with a track record of community growth.
Technical IQ: Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Spark) and video editing suites (CapCut, Premiere Pro).
Location: Must be available for full-time work in Rivers State.
Core Competencies
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data to measure success and inform strategy.
Creative Writing: Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms.
