About Company:
We are a team of professionals with a combined experience of over 50 years, dedicated to helping our clients advance their cause.
Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned, commercially savvy Senior Project Engineer to spearhead large-scale construction projects from initiation to commissioning. In the complex landscape of Oil & Gas, you will serve as the critical nexus between engineering design and physical implementation, ensuring that every weld, pipe, and structural element aligns with rigorous specifications.
With over a decade of experience, you will lead cross-functional teams through the EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) lifecycle. Your mission is to deliver projects that are not only on schedule and within budget but also exceed global QA/QC standards and safety codes. If you thrive on technical troubleshooting and possess the leadership grit to manage multi-stakeholder environments, this is your platform for impact.
Requirements:
1. Engineering Coordination & Technical Oversight
EPCC Lifecycle Management: Direct the scheduling and coordination of assigned projects, ensuring a seamless transition from engineering deliverables to field construction.
Design-to-Field Integrity: Review all engineering drawings and technical deliverables, initiating corrective actions to bridge the gap between architectural intent and site reality.
Technical Troubleshooting: Provide high-level support to the field team, identifying and resolving complex engineering issues before they impact the critical path.
2. Quality Governance & Risk Management
Compliance Stewardship: Monitor strict adherence to applicable codes (API, ASME, etc.), performance standards, and the organization’s QA/QC policies.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks and implement robust mitigation strategies to safeguard the budget and timeline.
Blueprint Accuracy: Oversee the coordination of all relevant drawings, ensuring that documentation is updated, accessible, and strictly followed.
3. Operational Excellence & Leadership
Quality Control Leadership: Perform overall QC on budgets, personnel performance, and schedules, providing data-driven status reports to the Project Manager.
Stakeholder Diplomacy: Act as the primary field representative for the client, interpreting their requirements and ensuring their needs are met during daily operations.
Mentorship & Mentoring: Assign responsibilities and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience. Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
EPCC Expertise: Proven track record in leading teams through EPCC projects is highly desirable.
Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Technical Stack
Software Fluency: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Engineering IQ: Deep knowledge of construction materials, methods, and global regulations specific to industrial and energy projects.
Core Competencies
Critical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex blueprints and troubleshoot multi-dimensional engineering problems.
Leadership Grit: Proven ability to manage and supervise large, diverse construction teams under high-pressure deadlines.
Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management within a project environment.
