Job Description:

We are seeking a high-precision and strategically minded Project Planner to anchor our project execution at MSHEL Construction. In the complex and capital-intensive construction sector, success is defined by "Temporal Integrity", the ability to harmonize intricate timelines, resource fluctuations, and logistical constraints into a seamless delivery engine. This role is designed for a "Systems Architect" who can blend "Advanced Critical Path Modeling" with the "Operational Grit" required to coordinate diverse engineering teams and subcontractors.

Your mission is to ensure "Absolute Milestone Fidelity and Zero-Waste Resource Utilization." You will be the primary steward of the project’s heartbeat: responsible for developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), identifying project risks before they manifest, and maintaining the "Single Source of Truth" for project progress. If you possess "Exceptional Analytical Grit," a mastery of Project Management Software, and a proactive approach to bottleneck resolution, we want you to drive our construction sovereignty.

Requirements:

1. Planning Architecture & Scope Governance

  • Milestone Modeling: Develop, update, and maintain high-fidelity project schedules, ensuring every task is aligned with the critical path and final delivery deadlines.

  • WBS Engineering: Prepare and define comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and deliverables, collaborating with engineers to translate blueprints into actionable phases.

  • Constraint Mapping: Identify project constraints and structural risks early, developing robust mitigation strategies to prevent "Timeline Drift" or cost overruns.

2. Scheduling Orchestration & Logistics Synergy

  • Progress Intelligence: Monitor and track real-time project progress, adjusting the master schedule based on actual field output and unforeseen site variables.

  • Procurement Sync: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that the "Just-in-Time" delivery of materials and equipment matches the construction sequence.

  • Reporting Fidelity: Provide regular, data-driven updates on schedule performance ($SPI$) and budget integration to ensure all stakeholders are operating on current data.

3. Resource Governance & Capacity Planning

  • Demand Forecasting: Assist in forecasting precise labor, equipment, and material requirements, ensuring that resource allocation remains lean yet sufficient.

  • Utilization Audits: Track the "Burn Rate" of resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and that any allocation conflicts are resolved with minimal friction.

  • Logistics Oversight: Work synchronously with procurement teams to identify potential shortages or supply chain delays, addressing them proactively to maintain site momentum.

4. Risk Management & Diagnostic Resolution

  • Contingency Engineering: Develop "What-If" scenarios and contingency plans for scheduling, resource, or logistical risks.

  • Conflict Mediation: Coordinate with the project team to resolve task overlaps and resource competition, ensuring all activities serve the project’s primary objectives.

  • Process Optimization: Make high-level recommendations to adjust resources or schedules to minimize disruptions during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction or civil engineering industry.

  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and data visualization tools.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and translate them into logical sequences.

Core Competencies

  • Communication Prowess: Ability to facilitate high-stakes planning meetings and maintain clear lines of communication with diverse stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Grit: A proactive mindset focused on identifying and neutralizing project delays before they occur.

  • Detail Orientation: Meticulous approach to documentation, version control, and performance metrics.
