Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Concrete Foreman to anchor our infrastructure engine across project sites in Northern Nigeria. In the specialized field of heavy civil engineering, success is defined by "Structural Sovereignty", the ability to lead multi-discipline site teams with the clinical precision required for interpreting engineering drawings, managing reinforcement, and overseeing high-fidelity concrete finishing. This role is designed for a "Civil Architect" with a Diploma in Civil Engineering and 3–5 years of proven experience who can blend "Field Grit" (supervising pouring and curing in challenging environments) with the "Technical Agility" required for quality control and progress reporting.
Requirements:
1. Structural Orchestration & Drawing Governance
Interpretation Sovereignty: Read and interpret high-fidelity engineering drawings and blueprints, ensuring every pour acts as a "Source of Geometrical Accuracy."
Execution Architecture: Supervise and coordinate daily concrete operations for bridges, culverts, and highway structures, providing the "Operational Foundation" for long-term durability.
Material Stewardship: Inspect cement, aggregates, and reinforcement with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Material Integrity."
2. Operational Resilience & Technical Logic
Process Sovereignty: Oversee the entire concrete lifecycle—mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing—maintaining the "Source of Engineering Excellence."
Logistics Architecture: Manage and direct site workers, subcontractors, and equipment operators with clinical focus, acting as the primary "Source of Site Efficiency."
Problem-Solving Stewardship: Identify and resolve on-site technical issues with high-speed focus, ensuring "Zero-Lapse" in project delivery and schedule adherence.
3. Safety Integrity & Reporting Power
Compliance Sovereignty: Ensure unwavering adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, acting as the "Source of Site Safety."
Reporting Architecture: Maintain accurate site records and provide high-fidelity progress updates to Project Managers, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for project tracking.
Leadership Logic: Utilize 3–5 years of bridge and highway experience to manage diverse teams, optimizing the "Source of Workforce Command" across Northern Nigerian project sites.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of robust experience as a Concrete Foreman, specifically on Road, Bridge, and Culvert projects.
Mobility: Must be willing to travel or relocate to various project sites within Northern Nigeria.
